Esther Luttikhuizen
Esther Luttikhuizen’s early career was spent as a studio artist, exhibiting widely in the Midwest and East Coast. After earning an MFA at the University of Washington in 1993, she co-founded Esther Claypool Gallery in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square. The gallery earned a strong reputation for progressive exhibits by artists living in the Pacific Northwest. Luttikhuizen has served as director of Kittredge Gallery at University of Puget Sound (Tacoma, WA) and public art project manager for Washington State Arts Commission (Olympia). Today, Luttikhuizen is on staff at 4Culture (Seattle) where she is gallery coordinator and curator of collections.
Eric Tomberlin
Seattle - based artist, Eric Tomberlin, has exhibited both nationally and internationally. As an editorial photographer he has photographed for many magazines including Time, New York Magazine, and Travel and Leisure. After working in New York for many years, he was invited to India, where he served as a founding faculty member at Light and Light Academy. He completed his M.F.A. at the University of Texas at Austin before accepting his current position at Bellevue College where he teaches photography full-time while continuing his work as a freelance editorial photographer and artist.
Carrie Hall Tomberlin
Carrie Hall Tomberlin completed her B.A. in Visual Arts and Creative Writing at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. She went on to serve as Endowment Coordinator at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC. Carrie discovered that teaching was her calling while working as a volunteer, teaching inner city youth to use photography as a means of self expression and as a way to connect with their community. She completed her M.F.A. at Clemson University, spending part of her program in Genoa, Italy. She continues to exhibit her photography nationally and write fiction while teaching photography at Green River Community College and English at Bellevue College.
